Anja K. Franck is currently writing a PhD in Economic Geography at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
The focus of the PhD is upon gender relations and international trade policy – specifically looking at gendered implications of the inclusion of a ‘labor clause’ in the negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). Her main areas of interest are gender, trade policy, labor rights and the informal economy. She is a Board member of the network Women In Development Europe (WIDE).
