Debapriya Bhattacharya
Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya, a macro-economist and public policy analyst, currently is a Special Advisors on LDCs in Office of the Secretary General of UNCTAD.
Prior to this appointment he was a Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading think-tank in South Asia. He was the Executive Director of the CPD during 1999-2007. Dr. Debapriya was also the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2007-08.
