Jeff Vogt is the Global Economic Policy Specialist for the American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO)
He has extensive experience in international labor law and international trade policy, has testified before congress and various federal agencies on international trade, and has published on the efficacy of labor rights enforcement under U.S. unilateral trade preference programs. Currently, he works on issues related to international labor law and international economic policy for the AFL-CIO. Before joining the AFL-CIO, he represented domestic and foreign trade unions in litigation in state and federal courts. He is a graduate of Cornell Law School, where he earned his J.D. and L.L.M. in International and Comparative Law. He further studied international law at the University of Paris I - Sorbonne.
