Massimiliano Calì
Massimiliano Calì is a Research Fellow with the Overseas Development Institute.
His current research focuses on the relation between trade, development and growth, on the effects of migration on source countries, and on the determinants and implications of urbanisation in developing countries. He has provided advice to Ministries in developing and developed countries as well as to international organisations. His research has been published in international journals, books and official reports. Prior to ODI, he worked as a consultant for the Asian Development Bank and as an economist in the Italian Embassy to Bolivia. He is completing a PhD in Economic Geography at the London School of Economics.
